Rounded Developments Enterprises Ltd

Rounded Developments Enterprises is a not for profit organisation based in Cardiff that runs a Sustainable Building Centre. The purpose of the centre is to provide the residents and voluntary organisations of SE Wales with a central place where they can discover how to build more sustainably, where to access the materials from and who can actually install / build projects for them.

Our centre in Cardiff has a range of displays providing information about green building technologies and techniques.  There is also a shop which stocks sustainable building materials including natural paints, flax insulation, eco-bricks, water saving devices, energy saving devices, steel guttering and much more.  We also have a resource room which houses a reference library, regularly updated information boards and free internet access to web sites providing the latest information on green building technologies.

We are able to offer consultancy services to community, voluntary and charitable groups in South East Wales, providing advice on making your development as green and sustainable as possible.

We also run training courses that are tailor made to suit a variety of groups and audiences.  We are especially interested in developing practical sustainable building skills across Wales.  A 3 day course aimed at housing professionals will take place in Cwmbran in September and October 2007.  This will be an introduction to sustainable building, and includes a tour of an eco-building.

We have produced a Sustainable Building Directory for South East Wales, to help consumers to find architects, builders and building materials.  Full details are on our web site.
