A consultation has been published by the Welsh Government on how best to ensure local development plan policies and site allocations positively impact on the use of Welsh language locally.  The Planning (Wales) Act 2015, seeks to ensure that the Welsh language is considered during the preparation of development plans and when planning decisions are taken.  The consultation – http://gov.wales/docs/desh/consultation/160401tan-20-consultation-document-en.pdf – runs until 30 March.
