A focus for Stop Climate Chaos Cymru’s Action Day on Saturday, 28 November, part of the worldwide demonstration ahead of the UN climate change negotiations in Paris, will be their Pedal for the Planet mass rally. Cyclists, and walkers, from all over Wales will meet in Callaghan Square at 1.30pm before riding to the Senedd for speakers and entertainment from 2.00pm.  Some people will be riding down from Abergavenny and you are welcome to join them. The first riders will set off from Fairfield Car Park at 8am, leaving plenty of time for lunch in Cardiff before the event. Faster riders may wish to leave later. The route they are recommending is 60km and goes down through Usk, Caerleon, Newport and out along the levels to Cardiff. A GPX of the route is available on request.
