Network Rail is consulting on its Route Studies for Wales which look at the likely future demand for services and the options by which those demands might be met.  The study, at http://www.networkrail.co.uk/long-term-planning-process/welsh-route-study/, is not an easy read, but those with a keen interest in the subject may wish to respond by 9 June.
