Gwent Wildlife Trust is a charity based in Monmouthshire.  We try to ensure a better future for wildlife in Gwent by:-

Managing over 30 wildlife reserves Campaigning against damaging developments Providing land management advice Helping people to enjoy their local wildlife Running events and courses for members and local schools

The nature reserves range from the last remnant of fenland on the Gwent Levels to traditionally managed hay meadows and ancient woodlands.  Our 5000 members are vital in supporting our work.  They provide a powerful mandate to help influence decision makers. 

If you value our work why not become a member?  Volunteers are essential to the Trust.  Would you like to survey wildlife sites, help the office run smoothly, keep an eye on a local reserve or join work parties for reserve management tasks such as coppicing and hedge laying?  Please contact the office for details.
