Hydrogen Cars for Monmouthshire?

MCC’s Cabinet on 8 June is asked to approve a 12 month trial of 20 Riversimple Rasa hydrogen cell cars via an unspecified site at Abergavenny or Monmouth.  These cars have a range of 300mls and take only five minutes to refuel.

Have a Wildlife Weekend

‘Go Wild 2016’ at Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar (just off the A465) on Saturday, 4 June (10.00am – 3.00pm) claims to be South Wales biggest wildlife event with lots of free activities.

The nationwide Garden BioBlitz also takes place this coming weekend, on the 4 & 5 June.  Why not take a look in your garden, and see what species you can find? More information on how to get involved is available from http://www.gardenbioblitz.org/

Energy Days

Monmouthshire’s Climate Change Champions have arranged Energy Days in the weeks beginning 12 June to raise awareness of energy efficiency, renewables and sustainable living. Full details from hazelclatworthy@monmouthshire.gov.uk – the programme includes Energy Advice Surgeries at Monmouth (15 June) and Usk (16 June).
